Are you a Non-profit in need of Small Touchscreens?

We have been using the Mimo Monitors as shelf-talkers in our Free Store to demonstrate our STEM and Literacy Lending Library that is available for our educators. Because our Learning Library kits are for Display-Only, we wanted educators to have a first-hand view of what was included in the kits. I disassembled the kits, took photos, did some creative labeling, and made a short interactive video that scrolls continuously. This school year, our usage rate of the Lending Library increased by 81%. I can’t prove causality, but that is the only change we made!

We are grateful for the opportunity that TechSoup provides for small nonprofit organizations like Food4Kids Backpack Program of North Florida to attain state of the art hardware and software. Our new Mimo touchscreen monitor has already been put to use as a permanent kiosk for our volunteers to log and track their hours. We rely on our volunteers to help us feed 1700 children every weekend during the school year and this technology helps ensure our process is smooth and efficient.

As a nonprofit organization that commissions temporary public art, we often have events outdoors, indoor event spaces, and restaurants. We were looking for an elegant and affordable way to display our website, images, and video as part of the welcome table experience. We also were looking for a simple way for people to make a donation, buy a ticket to a fundraiser, or fill out a survey. So far we have loved using these at all of our events this year, and easily sold tickets at our gala and gathered important feedback through an audience survey. They are lightweight yet durable, and easy to clean. This monitor works well for all of these applications, and the price point allowed us to make this purchase as part of our supply budget, not a restricted equipment or capital budget.

 Our MIMO digital signage has been a game changer! We find ourselves at small events that allow great on-on-one interaction with community members and our MIMO gives us a great way to quickly encapsulate information in a streamlined fashion. We also take part in large events that have massive crowds and we are able to utilize our MIMO without skipping a beat. These monitors truly are a workhorse, they just keep going! Not having to worry about if the device is left on is great for peace of mind. We can show case QR codes, videos of past events, slide shows, sign up forms, the possibilities are endless, and all convenient.
