We Had A Blast At InfoComm 2017!

InfoComm bills itself as the largest professional AV trade show in North America, and for the fifth year the team at Mimo Monitors made the trip to exhibit at the showcase. The 2017 event was hosted in Orlando from June 10 -16, and when we arrived at the Orange County Convention Center, we were very excited to see our screens being used in many other booths including Evertz, Logitech, Ricoh, Bose and Utelogy. But hands down, the best part of the show was meeting all of you.

This year Mimo Monitors exhibited in a brand new 10 x 20 booth space, allowing us the opportunity to meet our customers face-to-face, many of whom we had previously only corresponded with online. We provided attendees thorough demonstrations of our solutions, giving them the chance to engage with products via interactive demos. In turn, they offered us valuable feedback on the user experience which can now be incorporated when developing even more superior and easy-to-use technology.

As part of our exhibition, we were proud to spotlight our newest product, Mimo Vue with Capture -- a capacitive LCD touchscreen that has HDMI capture built into the display. We’ve designed it to be the ideal conference room control interface. The capture technology enables a USB 3.0 connected computer to stream high-quality HDMI video, up to 1080p video at 60 frames per second. Corporate and commercial applications will find the stable touchscreen and smooth  streaming perfect for broadcasting over the internet to other online meeting participants.

Attendees were also given the chance to experience the Mimo Adapt-IQ tablet with LED, built specifically for 24/7 commercial use. This innovative Android-enabled solution can be deployed in a variety of settings including retail, hospitality, healthcare, and education. Those that joined us at the Digital Signage Expo (DSE) 2017 in March might have recognized that the Adapt-IQ won the award for best new room sign.

Alongside our new innovations, we enjoyed checking out some of the latest technologies others are developing for audio, video, display, projection, lighting and staging, and digital signage at this year’s show. Presenting with our peers in the industry always has us walking away with new inspiration and insights that we can’t wait to use to develop more useful, creative touchscreen solutions. We’re already looking forward to InfoComm 2018 in Las Vegas and hope to see you there. Until then, check out our product selector to find a solution for your project by clicking here!
