The Mimo Adapt-IQV Android-powered signage player is designed to enhance the customer experience and provide the most cost-effective solutions for retail POS/POP, commercial, industrial, and hospitality markets. Software for managing your fleet at scale: Device Management and Kiosk Software

When companies create an amazing experience on one device, it is often a struggle to deploy and support the hardware at scale. For any multi-unit deployment, Mobile Device Management (MDM) is a crucial piece of any device deployment and MService, Mimo Monitors’ new remote device management software, allows for convenient and comprehensive cloud-based display management from any location around the globe. MService was specifically built to manage fleets of devices quickly and easily and is custom-tailored and installed on all Mimo hardware. MService offers simple and seamless management of a limitless number of devices at an accessible and unbeatable price point. Now customers can rely on Mimo’s superior customer service as a one-stop-shop for hardware and remote device management software needs. This combination of hardware and software alleviates challenges by adding the functionality required to solve our customers’ pain points.

In addition, Mimo Monitors kiosk software, MLock is a FREE, pre-installed application with the capability to “lock down” your device by securely disabling physical buttons and the touchscreen. MLock supports two methods of locking down your device. The first method is by configuring MLock to launch your custom application that will take control of the device. The second method is by using one of MLock’s two play modes, video player or web viewer, to display video content or lock the browser to a URL that you provide. Mimo Monitors also offers an MLock SDK that can be used to bundle Mimo services into your application. 

MService can be used to remotely update MLock settings, to push new content, or to re-configure how the tablet is locked. MService and MLock are an unbeatable combination of capabilities that simplify your deployment. However, if you prefer to use a separate 3rd party MDM, we are certified with Moki, Airwatch, and others.

Engineered for long-term use and support

The Adapt-IQV by Mimo is designed and supported as a commercial product with a long lifecycle. The external specifications and tooling are controlled to withstand a long product life and guarantee continuity for all phases of project rollouts and service. The internal assemblies were developed specifically for the Adapt-IQV model and unlike other solutions are not subject to obsolescence. Though internal components may change for the better, such conversions can be done without modification by the end user.

Quad Core ARM A17

The Mimo Adapt-IQV 10-inch Android-powered signage player uses a quad core Cortex A17 chipset with a 1.8GHz peak frequency that supports the latest ARM processor optimized package. Apps launch instantly and run smoothly. The processor features a quad-core GPU, so that all graphic-intensive apps are fluid and lifelike. All this, combined with 2GB of dual-channel DDR3 memory, distinguishes our tablet from other solutions.

Android 8.1 Oreo OS, license free

The quad-core Adapt-IQV with Android 8.1 OS has accelerated webpage opening speed by 50%, app installation speed by 25%, app loading speed by 16%, video and photo loading speed by 30%. The Adapt-IQV by Mimo can be installed with applications downloaded from Android Market for different customized demands.

High-quality multi-touch panel with tempered glass

Our Android-powered signage player’s 10-point multi-touch projected capacitive panel responds instantly and accurately without dead corners. Users can interact with your designed app with ease and comfort. The capacitive touch panel is composed of scratch-free tempered glass and produced with advanced laser carving and a state-of-the-art double-deck glass process.

VESA mount, wired Ethernet and Optional Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The Adapt-IQV is specifically designed for commercial and retail applications, not consumer use. With this in mind, our tablet is designed with VESA mounting holes on the back and an SD card protection system to suit demanding environments. The Adapt-IQV 10-inch Android-powered signage player comes with built-in Wi-Fi, a wired RJ45 Ethernet connection, and internal memory can be expanded as needed through the SD memory slot. In addition to wired Ethernet, our tablet can be optionally configured with Power over Ethernet (PoE). Peripherals such as printers and bar code scanners are easily connected to the USB ports found on the rear of the tablet.

Add-On Module Slots

Our 10-inch Android-powered signage player features three USB-based add-on module slots. These slots can accept USB accessories such as a NFC module, magnetic stripe reader, or 2D barcode reader. As future requirements evolve, new hardware capabilities can be added.

Play Full HD video smoothly, support Flash & HTML5

The Adapt-IQV by Mimo plays 4k videos smoothly, and is compatible with 480P, 720P, and 1080p videos in all kinds of formats: TS, H.264, WMV, MPEG4, etc. The tablet supports Adobe Flash 11.0 and HTML5 animation technology, and can easily access dynamic webpage, and on-line videos or games.
