Mimo pleased to announce Bob Williams as VP of Sales-Americas
Mimo is pleased to announce the promotion of Bob Willams, formerly Sr Manager-Major Accounts, to the position of Vice President of Sales, responsible for North and South America.
Bob has spent over 30 years in the technology space, mainly with NEC Electronics America/Tianma NLT America, where he rose to the position of Vice President of Sales for Industrial LCD products. He began his career, while still in High School, as a Warehouse Clerk at Universal Instruments, and ultimately rose
to the position of Sr. Production and Inventory Controller.
Bob has been with Mimo for 4 years, primarily managing Major Global Accounts, such as Google, Lenovo, ASUS, and Bose. He will continue managing these accounts, as well as any other Major Accounts Mimo engages with in the future.
Bob’s vision is to grow other target markets for Mimo, such as Hospitality, Kiosk, Healthcare, Education, Retail and Industrial, to name a few. He will enable and support the Sales team through training and process improvement, as well as building on Mimo’s core strengths of technology in the growing product portfolio, excellent product quality, and superior Customer Service. He plans to accomplish this growth by building stronger relationships with our Distributor partners, System Integrators, and resellers. He will also continue to work with the rest of the Mimo team to continue growth in the UCC space, Mimo’s largest market segment.
Bob resides in Cumming, Georgia, a northern suburb of Atlanta, with his wife Tracey. They share 3 sons and 2 daughters, and 5 wonderful grandchildren. Bob enjoys, but certainly does not excel at, golf. He
also enjoys fishing and boating.
