Mimo Reboot Retreat
A couple weeks ago the Mimo team had their annual Reboot & Retreat. The team got together to talk about the year so far, discuss milestones, accomplishments, and key learnings, and also to connect and bond. After a day of gathering in the office for meetings the team headed to Green Lake Wisconsin, a beautiful lakeside town where our CEO has a beautiful home right on the water. Amidst the learning and sales summit, the team also made time for golfing, boating and debauchery.
Here’s a few key takeaways and highlights from team members about some of our sales team who attended the retreat both personally and/or professionally:
“Experiencing every member of the sales team's presentation, made it very apparent to me that we now have the strongest group since I joined the company. We have great leadership headed up by an excellent sales manager who, very importantly, is respected by top management. Together we will win!”- Rick Weinstein
“I finally had the chance to try authentic deep-dish pizza, and it was delicious—though I have to admit, I’m still partial to that thin crust we had! In addition, while I've met the majority of our team members from visits to the Princeton office and others at Infocomm 2022, there were still a few I hadn’t connected with face-to-face. It was refreshing to bond in person rather than through Google meetings or phone calls. The experience served as excellent team building and provided a welcome break from our usual routines”-Matthew Benz
“The Mimo Reboot/Retreat was extremely beneficial in having the entire company come together for an annual team building event that will enhance/strengthen working relationships moving forward. The week’s meetings overall were collaborative, interactive, and beneficial for productive discussions and feedback between employees and management. Weekend retreat on the lake was an added bonus.”- Jerry McComb, Business Development & Account Manager
“It was good to put our heads together to work on improving processes and procedures to better align our Company with our Customers' needs. Working on trying to align our future products with the markets will reap rewards over time. Lastly for me, seeing the competitiveness of the team (mainly anyone named Greg) while playing games was fun and definitely good for team building. The future is bright if we all work in the same direction.”- Bob Williams, Vice President of Sales
“What really stuck with me was golfing with everyone. It's always great to get out and golf with people, you get to relax, talk, and see them in a new light. It was great to see everyone really come together as a team and play in a competitive but still friendly environment. Having scramble rules where everyone's ball had to be played three times made it feel like we all had to contribute to it and it wasn't just a one person show.”- Tom Doddridge, Engineering Manager
As the Mimo team gets ready to wrap up the remainder of 2024 with a bang, it was an excellent way to energize and connect. We look forward to an awesome rest of the year ahead!
